Obtaining a Duplicate Copy of Your DD214

In order to get an AB mortgage loan, you need an AB Certificate of Eligibility.

You cannot get a certificate of eligibility without a DD214 form. If you have misplaced your DD214 form you need to obtain a duplicate copy by submitting a duly perfected Form No. SF180. To download the said form SF 180 titled “Request pertaining to Military Records”,

You can also obtain a duplicate copy of your DD214 by utilizing the AB Fax on Demand System by simply dialing 301-837-0990 using a fax machine.

Keep listening on the receiver for voice instructions. Follow the instructions and when you are prompted for the document number required, press 2255 on the dial pad.

Alternatively, you may even use the option of receiving a duplicate of your DD214 by mail by writing direct to The National Personnel Records Center, 9700, Page Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63132
